Istpika releases “Zakkania – Friend Market” for the GREE Social Game

Istpika Co. Ltd. (HQ: Osaka | CEO: Michinori Fukushima) announces the release of “Zakkania – Friend Market” for the social network service, GREE. Zakkania was released for mobile on the 29th of June 2010.

In “Zakkania – Friend Market” players collect items from all over the world and sell them in stores. As you play your store will evolve with the game – welcome to our global store simulation game!

Jump into Zakkania and making your store is easy! Open your store, join with friends and decorate your stores with some of the funky decorations we’ve prepared. Everything has been produced in rich Flash and so there’s plenty of beautiful action! Zakkania is a social game where you collect items with friends and buy and sell them with each other.

This release sees Istpika on the list of initial release developers* for the GREE Platform and it’s recent opening.

*1 The GREE Platform is a recently opened social application platform that conforms to the OpenSocial standard.

Istpika has released it’s Watch Collection Ranch Mixi app for PC. When we design our social games we focus on these 5 important aspects; Social design, game play, repeat user, viral tech and monetizing.

In Watch Collection Ranch you collect gorgeous watches, add followers and My Miku mates to communicate with, by communicating you score points and compete. (game play).
Your watch can be added into your Mixi profile page and can lead to connecting with people who haven’t yet installed the app. (viral tech).
Your Watch requires attention. if you don’t log in every now and then and click a button or two, or charge your watch it will break down. (repeat user).
You can get your friends to charge your watch for you if you’re away. This leads to everyone searching for a watch they think suites them. (social design).
Our business model is based on micro transactions of items thet will be released shortly. (monetizing).

- Follow system just like Twitter. As well as My Miku, you’re able to add Watch friends.
- Use the badge system to add small bits of info about yourself like, “I like golf”. This might connec to My Miku from a follow?
- “Like” friends watches by clicking the “Nice Watch” button and send them a quick message.
- By liking or charging you earn points which will eventually enable you to level up!

Either way, our game allows you to get a bonus for communicating.

Until recently the the marketing of apps was a real problem. This service is built on the basis that the more facebook friends join in, the more successful it is.
gottaDo naturally encourages the user to invite their friends to join in. This is what we call viral marketing whereas conventional methods were email and mail magazines. Traditional methods strong literary ability.
Using Facebook, we can achieve better results with just a few clicks. We have built in strong viral functionality into gottaDo for just this purpose.

of Broadway Cafe, a cafe action game for the iPhone & iPod touch. In
Broadway Cafe, you as the player run your own cafe. Take customer
orders, prepare meals and wait tables in this action game. But just
doing that would be too easy! You’re also in charge of interior
decoration, sales / profit and other responsibilities.

In addition to pushing the limits of the iPhone hardware, Broadway Cafe
incorporates functions and connectivity of the world’s biggest SNS site,
Facebook (*1). By importing your friends Broadway Cafe play data

Istpika selected as fbfund finalist

Istpika (based in Osaka / CEO: Michinori Fukushima) submitted an application called gottaDo2 for iPhone to the fbfund investment fund and on the 29th of May 2009, was selected as a top 50 finalist. This is the first award to be presented to a facebook application developed in Japan.
