It’s finally here!
We’ve released version 1.1 of Broadway Cafe for iPhone!
In the release we’ve added a lot more Facebook functionality. We’ve added the publishing functionality that will push out those little ads for us onto players walls. Gifts being exchanged , new item additions and ranking information is now posted to Facebook. This will increase competitiveness with friends!

This update focusses on the games integration with Facebook, new items and more item information!
- Now you can send messages to facebook using the publish button on the main menu. Messages such as, “looking for staff!”.
- When you receive a gift from a friend on Facebook, a dialog now informs you about it.
- Your received gift count is now shown on the app icon.
- When you have cleared a stage and submitted your scores, that info is also published.
- We added two new, fun items (Double your experience gain rate, Customer run speed boost). We have many more coming!
- The icons of items in use are shown in the main menu.

When players finish a level and find they require Facebook friends to continue, they will contact new friends on Facebook by possibly sending a gift, hook up and play. And when new users join, we hope that current players will support them with Facebook gifts. So if you receive a gift, you can assume that friend is somewhere around the world playing Broadway Cafe.

Your ranking also gets published now. And by accessing Facebook, you can now see your friends ranking also.
To get ahead of your friends, either send yourself some gifts from the shop or publish messages to Facebook asking for items!

Publishing is a major feature of Facebook as all your friends can see the entries that show up in the main feed and easily comment or add to. This is part of the fun of social networks.

There may be a gift waiting for you from a friend, or your ranking may have dropped. Or there may be comments on the messages you left on Facebook. Keep an eye out!
If this is how we’re all playing Broadway Cafe, then you could say it’s gone past the point of an online game and is rather a social game.
The previous Broadway Cafe used “connect” and “sync” systems and was an on/off type of direct connection. The new Broadway Cafe is constantly connected to the server and receives information pushed out to it which we hope will increase our players desire to play more!

* We aren’t using push notifications introduced in OS 3. Broadway Cafe is playable from OS 2.0.
In order for this to happen, you will need to make a lot of Broadway Cafe friends on Facebook. And to those who are trying hard to level up in the later stages, try hiring some staff on Facebook. If you access our Facebook page there are plenty of people playing and you can easily make friends. Send a shout out to some of the higher rankers.
