Facebook Lite.
It doesn’t have the complex functionality and game app feeds. It focusses on friends’ status updates, photos and videos so it’s designed for communication with friends.
.. this will be the future of social networks!
Other differences are:
No wall filter on the left.
No ads on right.
No app requests / news.
No app feedback.
When other social networks like Mixi and Mobage-town and looking to the most advanced functionality, Facebook has turned the other way and kept in mind the core of social networking. But as an app developer .. this may hinder us a little! ;(
.. when I looked at this on the iPhone, I was shocked!
I lost a game of rock, paper, scissors and was told to carry an iPhone 3G/OS 2.1 so I can’t use the new Facebook for iPhone.
