Istpika releases a social todo task manager called gottaDo2 (from here on gottaDo). Currently on sale in the iTunes app store.

We beleve that it’s only by continued use that you get the most out of a task manager. We’ve considered this very carefully in our app design.

    Start up the app and be greeted by our cute little sea creatures. Pay with our fun characters and update your news feeds as you complete tasks. Let our characters motivate you to get things done!
  2. Simple design to enable productivity
    We removed the clutter and designed gottaDo for pure ease of use.
  3. Rope in your facebook friends help
    gottaDo connects to faceook via facebook connect. gottaDo iPhone syncs and allows you to organise your tasks within facebook. With gottaDo your facebook friends are able to remind you when your tasks are due, with their support you’re going to have to complete your tasks!

gottaDo was honoured to be selected as a top 50 finalist for the fbfund 2009, a capital investment fund run by Facebook. For more details see our press release.

* Viral marketing via Facebook
Until recently the the marketing of apps was a real problem. This service is built on the basis that the more facebook friends join in, the more successful it is.
gottaDo naturally encourages the user to invite their friends to join in. This is what we call viral marketing whereas conventional methods were email and mail magazines. Traditional methods strong literary ability.
Using Facebook, we can achieve better results with just a few clicks. We have built in strong viral functionality into gottaDo for just this purpose.

Istpika selected as fbfund finalist

Istpika (based in Osaka / CEO: Michinori Fukushima) submitted an application called gottaDo2 for iPhone to the fbfund investment fund and on the 29th of May 2009, was selected as a top 50 finalist. This is the first award to be presented to a facebook application developed in Japan.

* The fbfund
The fbfund is an investment fund held once yearly by Facebook and results in the finalists being awarded investment capital, education & training resources and the possibility of incubation. Each round results in 20-50 finalists being selected.

* Products development
Istpika developed and sells the application, gottaDo for iPhone &iPod on the iTunes store. gottaDo utilises facebook connect.
In gottaDo users are able to connect to Facebook using Facebook connect and chieve 2 things; 1) organise their tasks on facebook 2) call on their friends / social network help to assist them in completing their tasks.

The chair, it exists everywhere and everyone uses them. We want to take those normalities in life and totally recreate them.
“Isu” means chair and “pika” means to shine in Japanese. To that end, the name Istpika was decided upon.
